In 1997, Stefan Rademacher and the guitarist Axel Fischbacher founded the concert series »jazzattack« in Krefeld.

To these session concerts, they invite musicians of the national and international scene to play in always new constellations. No existing formations, therefore, accordingly, no rehearsed programs. Just shortly before the concert, the program of the night will be discussed.

Frequently, musicians of different genres are occupied. The only agreement is to move in the field of jazz. The meetings are characterized by utmost creativity and fun, being exciting for audience and actors.

Rademacher and Fischbacher understand »jazzattack« as a forum where musicians can meet. Many later collaborations come from these events.

Promoters of the »jazzattack« are Jazzklub Krefeld (JKK) and Jazzkeller Krefeld.

»jazzattack« takes place twice a month, Thursdays, at Jazzkeller Krefeld, Lohstr.92, starting at 20.30h.
